Sundays

We gather to worship God, to pray for our city and the world, and to hear from God's word. If the front West doors are closed please enter by the North door, opposite the market.

► Breakfast Church

Sunday 9.30am Breakfast Church

With toast and drinks served from 9.10am, this is an informal 45 min service. The music is led by the music group. The style is relaxed, family friendly and suitable for all ages.

►Holy Communion

Sunday 11am Holy Communion using liturgy from Common Worship. The music is led by Hull Minster choir. Children’s activities run in parallel with part of the service.

►Choral Evensong

1st and 3rd Sunday of the Month at 3.30pm

Choral evensong from the Book of Common Prayer 1662 led by the Hull Minster Choir using a pattern of worship passed down through the centuries.

►Taize

2nd Sunday of the Month at 3.30pm

Prayer and silence are at the heart of the Taize service. Simple music and chants are used to aid in the prayer and meditation.

►Evening Prayer

4th and 5th Sundays of the Month at 3.30pm

Following the pattern of evening prayer.
Music and singing may accompany the service from time to time.


Midweek

In addition to our Sunday Worship, we also meet as a church at other times during the week to worship God together. Monday to Friday Morning Prayer 8am and Evening Prayer 4pm are held in the Chancel (enter by the north door)

►Holy Communion

12:30pm every Wednesday

A friendly and peaceful Holy Communion service led by one of our clergy team. Ideal for lunch breaks as it lasts about half an hour.

►Minster Praise

3rd Thursday of the Month at 10:30am

A relaxed service where you can enjoy tea and cake and fellowship.


FAQ’s

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving a few minutes before the service starts to allow time to be seated in good time.

How do I get in?

If the front West doors are closed please enter by the North door opposite the market.

Is there a cost?

Services are free to attend. There is no charge. We work on the donation system. Thank you for any donations you wish to make.

Where should I park?

We are in the city centre, there is chargable on street parking around us and various car parks.

Which service do students go to primarily?

We have students at all our services depending on the style of worship they are comfortable with.

How long is a service?

Sunday services are about an hour, Saturday and Weekday 30-40 minutes.

What should I wear?

Come however you want! We want you to be as comfortable as possible and there is no pressure to wear your Sunday best.
