Hull & District Theological Society
An ecumenical society for the study of Christian Theology
The Hull and District Theological Society was constituted in 1957 with the purpose of ‘the promotion of the study of theology, in all its branches, … within the University of Hull, the City of Kingston upon Hull, and the parts of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire round about’. The Society had a strong link with Hull University Theology Department and a broad ecumenical membership. Following the demise of the department, the Society is now hosted by Hull Minster.

The Society usually meets on the Second Thursday of the month at 7pm in the Trinity Room as a reading group and hosts termly public lectures.
