HULL MINSTER IS OPEN: STONEWORK UPDATE

Following a positive inspection from our resident architect and stonemason, Hull Minster has been deemed safe to reopen, after one of our decorative pinnacles became dislodged over the weekend.

Hull Minster will be open its usual hours of 10am-4pm, while the Minster Café continues to be open 10am-3pm.

The Minster’s North Car Park will continue to be blocked off as a precaution, although the North Church Side road has been deemed safe to reopen.

All of us at Hull Minster extend our sincerest thanks to those responsible for the careful removal of the damaged stonework. Its timely removal, especially in the midst of this rainy, windy winter, has saved the church from serious damage and kept our visitors safe.
