How to get here

Hull Minster is located in the heart of the Old Town in Hull and can be easily visited as part of a visit to the rest of Hull. We recommend visiting the Minster on foot via public transport as part of our continual strive to reduce our carbon footprint.

Walking and Cycling

Hull Minster is located easily by foot being in the heart of the Old Town. It is a 10 minute walk from St Stephen’s Shopping Centre, Train/Bus Interchange and the majority of the city centre. There are signs throughout the city centre to help you navigate towards us. Cycle stands are available on Trinity Square and secure cycle storage is in the Trinity Market Cycle Hub.

Public Transport

Buses run regularly into the city centre with most stopping either outside Queen's Garden (10 minute walk) or St Stephen's Shopping Centre (15-20 minute walk). Please check EYMS or Stagecoach Hull for more details.

Hull Paragon Interchange is a 10-15 minute walk. There are regular London connections by Hull Trains and regional connections to Doncaster, Leeds and York by Transpennine Express and Northern Rail Services. See nationalrail.co.uk for more information.

Daily North Sea ferry connections from Rotterdam are a 10 minute taxi ride from the church. See P&O ferries for more information.

Park & Ride

Park & Ride is available from Priory Park just off the A63 and has free parking all day. Buses run every 10 minutes into the city centre and stop on Alfred Gelder Street (Guildhall) which is a 5 minute walk to the Minster. See the Stagecoach Hull website for more details.

Driving

We are located just off the A63 in Hull City Centre and can be accessed easily by major connecting roads such as M62 or A15.

There will be road works along the A63 until autumn 2025 - however this is not affeccting access tio Hull Minster, and you can still turn off Castle Street (A63) for the High Street trun.

Parking

Due to being located in a city centre, we do not have any parking available on site however, we are within several options for parking. The nearest is King William Multistory (HU1 1RS) which is 50m from the Minster. Other options include Zebedees Yard (HU1 2JN) or Fruit Market 24hr (HU1 1UU). All of these provide disabled spaces and are charged by the hour or have a day rate. Other options are available by following signs to city centre parking.

Limited disabled parking spaces are available on the South side of the church but can be busy during the week or for events.
