Education at the Minster
Hull Minster offers class groups of all ages the chance to learn curriculum subjects outside the classroom. With over 20 workshops covering RE, History, Art and more, there’s almost no end to how you can use this amazing place to help your students learn.
Our aim is to make education fun, interactive and informative. Children and young people are encouraged to explore using multiple senses, discover answers for themselves and to ask questions. Whether that means hunting down hidden signs of Holy Trinity’s past, considering the modern ethical issues of the Christmas story, acting out a baptism around our 14th Century font or going on your own pilgrimage, your visit is sure to be a unique experience!
Education workshops are also available to uniformed organisations (Scouts, Girls Brigade etc), local youth groups and to homeschooling networks.

*NEW* Schools Easter Week - ‘Holy Week Experience’
The Holy Week Experience is our interactive, multi-sensory way to engage with the Easter story. On your visit you’ll walk through Holy Week, from Palm Sunday until Easter Sunday, with the opportunity to reflect using all 5 senses.
We use video, props, audio and creative activities to help you and your students to learn more about the story and what it means to Christians.
This workshop is free, and also includes a church trail (KS1/KS2 only) or a Q&A with members of Hull Minster (Key stages 1-4), but is only available from 23rd-26th April, with limited spaces available.
For more information or to book a visit for your class please email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the enquiry form on the right of the page.

Over the last two years, more than 950 children have attended one of our School Christingles. They’re full of fun, Christmas carols and a creative retelling of the Christmas story.
In 2019 we are holding our School Christingle Services at 1.30pm on 10th and 11th December. If you would like to come to one of these free, engaging Christmas services with your class, please read the information sheet below, and send the booking form to email@example.com.
