💚Girls Brigade
We have loved having 1st Hull Girls Brigade in church but now they have a new home.
Starting up on Monday 14th September at St Ninnian's and St Andrews United Reformed Church on Chanterlands Ave. 6:30pm.
💚Brick Church
At Brick Church in July we built the love story of Isaac and Rebekah - and thought about how we need to be kind when it’s hard, and also brave to trust in God’s promises. We also reflected on how strong Rebekah must have been to water 10 camels! (2,000 litres!) “God, thank you for this story of a servant who prayed, and a woman who was already on her way. Thank you that you hear us even before we’ve finished asking. Help us to be like Rebekah — to do the kind thing, even when it’s hard work. To be generous, even when nobody’s watching. And to be brave enough to say yes when you call us somewhere new. And when we’re not sure what’s ahead — help us to trust that you are already there. Amen" #BrickChurch #BibleStory #IsaacAndRebekah #TrustInGod #BeKind #ChristianLife #ChurchCommunity
We don’t meet in August but we are back in September with an exciting one. The Tower of Babel story. Plus - in Trinity Square, Freedom Festival are building a 12 meter high Babel Tower in complete silence.

💚Thank you to Mary & Don
We just want to say thanks. All our volunteers are special to us.
Spotlight on Mary who is racing around our café on Saturdays, even with her sore hip and also still helping at Welcome Café too.
Mary is a real all rounder! Steps in on our busiest sessions and is loyal, dedicated and hard working.
Spotlight on Don who steps in for Tower Tours which are absolutely vital for increasing funds towards the church. Very dedicated, loyal and positive.
PS we know this is Andy but we didn’t have one of Don! (Andy is amazing too)
True troopers. Thank you all, we couldn’t do it without people like you 💚
💚Heritage Talks
We are really enjoying the heritage talk series that James Cameron has put together.
Thank you to all our speakers.
Here is Andy Hammond in full flow.

💚Faith is on the rise across the British Army
That's according to evidence shared with BFBS Forces News by the Royal Army Chaplain's Department and the first-hand accounts of some of its padres.
But instead of the trend traditionally following organised religion, chaplains say these military-based interactions with faith tend to be more focused on spirituality, with younger soldiers seeking answers to searching questions in what's been described as a changing world.
This features Padre Ben Norton, Chaplain to the Yorkshire Regiment and Associate Priest at Hull Minster. https://youtu.be/c4wwf4SyMgM?si=ysos3rrjLw_lb8jx
