On Saturday 19th November from 4-10pm, Believe in Hull is hosting FreedomX: a groundbreaking, multi-denominational conference in the heart of Hull.
With Hull's rich heritage of freedom, we’ll be exploring big questions, such as: have we achieved freedom in this city? Nationally? Internationally? Who is oppressed? How can we change? How does faith impact our understanding of being free - spiritually, physically, emotionally and politically?
The line-up includes: Professor John Oldfield, world authority on Wilberforce, Director of the WISE Institute and leader of the Stolen Lives Project; the Rt. Rev. Bishop of Hull Alison White; Syrian academic, Roua Al Taweel, and many more published authors and thought-provoking theologians.
The talks will be TedX style - short and snappy, with follow-up seminars, workshops, and a chance to respond on the night. Further information can be found on the attached information pack. Please do spread the word and include in your notices.
Tickets are free and 'pay as you feel' on the night, but please register on our website: www.believeinhull.org.uk/freedomx
