16th century Spanish music in a 13th century church
Holy Trinity is delighted to be hosting The Sixteen this October as they tour the country with their choral pilgrimage of 16th Century Spanish music.
The Sixteen takes a trip back to 16th-century Spain and more specifically to one of the biggest, richest and most cosmopolitan cities on earth - Seville. It was during this Spanish ‘golden age’ when arts and culture flourished.
Recognised as one of the world’s greatest ensembles, The Sixteen have developed a special reputation for performing early English polyphony, masterpieces of the Renaissance, bringing fresh insights into Baroque and early Classical music and a diversity of 20th- and 21st-century music.
Tickets are available from the Holy Trinity shop and online . Please click here for more information and full choral programme.
