Revival - Back To Life Newsletter – Summer 2024
Heritage continues to be revealed at Hull Minster.
The Revival - Back to Life Heritage Project, supported by the Heritage Fund, has been successfully completed. Nevertheless, our volunteer team has become proficient in heritage interpretation and continues to assemble digital content, accessible from home via our website or through our portals at Hull Minster, adjacent to the archaeology display cabinets. Our volunteers excel at presenting replica items from the cabinets for hands-on exploration. It's a delightful experience!
Dr Marianne Gilchrist's three latest contributions delve into the origins and significance of the stained-glass panels that were relocated to a public space and refurbished by Martin Johnson Glass. This initiative was part of the project, with the ongoing goal to unveil more aspects of our heritage even beyond the project's conclusion. More information is available through the links provided below, or by visiting the Minster to browse the entire database.

We are very grateful for the support form the Heritage Fund, part of the National Lottery Fund, to help us deliver so much activity for the people of Hull. The work around the restoration of important monuments stained glass and archaeology has led to the public viewing heritage more closely and with more knowledge and respect. We thank you for the funding and for taking part.
