As well as coming along to Sunday worship services, there are many other ways to be involved at Hull Minster. You can volunteer in various ways, join a Bible Study or interest group, or join in with social action. We encourage you to come along to a Sunday worship service too if you don't already. For those who wish to dig deeper into the Bible, HT Refresh is a great way in. We meet on Wednesday evenings, usually fortnightly, in the Parish Centre.

Choral singing has been a major part of Hull Minster for many centuries. Our four-part choir holds its main rehearsal every Friday evening, and sings for the 11.15am service most Sundays. Our students and those in their 20-30s living in Hull gather for regular socials and Bible study groups. Many of our young adults are part of our 6.30pm Sunday congregation, others sing in our Choir or gather at our morning congregations. As well as small group, there are opportunities to serve in various ways in the life of the Church together.

Help to understand how the Bible speaks to us in our everyday situations at this friendly, informative group which meets every other Wednesday in the Hull Minster Parish Centre from 7.30pm to 9pm. Delicious refreshments are served.
Homeless in Hull

A ‘soup run’ on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, to take hot drinks, snacks and clothing to people who are sleeping rough on the streets of Hull. Volunteers also serve hot drinks at 8.30-9am on Sunday mornings in church.
Each Saturday morning, a dedicated band of volunteers comes into church to dust, clean, wash and vacuum – an invaluable work which helps the church keep tidy and presentable. We are always willing to engage new volunteers!

Our bell-ringing group are a committed team who hold practice sessions on Monday evenings. They ring before the 11.15am Sunday service, and for weddings by request. New members are always welcome and full training can be given - no experience necessary

Our craft group is very active and makes many items for sale in on our craft stall throughout the year. They usually gather on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm in the Parish Centre. Join us on the third Thursday of every month at 10.30am for a relaxed, informal service with traditional hymns, a short interactive talk and prayers. Take the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy great company afterwards over delicious home-made cakes and hot drinks.
The history group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from April to September in the chancel at 12 o’clock. Topics are chosen that have some connection with the history and life of Holy Trinity Church and it becoming Hull Minster, though this is taken in its widest sense. Talks are open to members of the public and are free.
