“Roads? … Where we are going you don’t need roads!”
Help us get Back to the Future in our first ever performance in our home at Hull Minster this September 7th, 8th and 9th at 7.30pm. FREE ENTRY for EVERYONE!
If you feel like Bruce Wayne and want to experience what it is like when The Dark Knight Rises, or you side more with The Man of Steel himself, Superman, you may just have the skills to take on that web slinging wonder, Spiderman! … Who knows, if you survive all of this Hiccup may just let you into the secrets of Berk because “While other places have ponies or parrots... we have... dragons.”
Follow us deep into the Mines of Moria. “It all began with the forging of the Great Rings. Three were given to the Elves; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven, to the Dwarf Lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And nine, nine rings were gifted to the race of Men, who above all else desire power.” So let us ride out west, as the Magnificent 7 take on not Seven Samurai but instead Star Trek : Into Darkness to make our way towards the final frontier… We will follow Newt and seek out some “Fantastic Beasts and where to find them” along the way. Some people say this could be the greatest story ever told, others say when it is all over that it is a “…tale as old as time” and that the best stories represent both Beauty and the Beast.

Family and friends, please feel free to come dressed as your favourite Super Hero, movie character or Princess! The Culture:Orchestra would love to see an audience of all of your favourite movie characters.
Be part of our story, from the very beginning where we hope to bring you something different, something new and exciting for all your friends and family in the beautiful setting of Hull Minster. We encourage you to walk around during the performance, look around the amazing new work that has been achieved in the Minster during the epic renovation or you can sit and watch the performance throughout. The Culture:Orchestra would like to challenge how you experience live music through exciting repertoire for everyone to enjoy creating an ‘open and welcoming’ experience to live orchestral music. Music is for everyone and the Culture:Orchestra always aim to have this at the heart of their performances. No need to be glued to your seat, have a walk around and enjoy the whole atmosphere, no worries about clapping and cheering at the wrong times, all we ask is you enjoy the performance in whatever way you suits you.
This is the start of an exciting new journey for the Culture:Orchestra and both the orchestra and all the representatives of the Minster would love you to be there and take part in it from the start.
