A warm welcome to this free romantic acoustic concert presented by well-known local musician and composer Alan Edgar and friends with the Newland School for Girls.
Listen to angels in the architecture with flirtatious flute, clever clarinet, velvety violin, vivacious vocals, gorgeous guitar and awe-inspiring organ— the largest parish organ in the country, having 4 000 pipes—we promise not to use them all at once! Short pieces byPuccini, Debussy, Arne, Saint-Saens, Vivaldi, Acker Bilk, Bach, Edgar and pleasant surprises. We hope to have a children’s choir with us, and an exhibition by the Artist in Residence, Julia Allum
Access is easy, and you may wander in and out. Enquiries to Alan, 01482 640330 firstname.lastname@example.org
