Christina is a Yorkshire Musician in Residence for the Arts Council. She teaches cello at Hull University and also enjoys giving workshops for the young and disabled all around the country.

Christina is known for performances of breathtaking intensity and the ability to communicate straight from the heart.
She studied at the Purcell School in London, where she formed the Juventus Quartet, performing all over Britain, on London’s South Bank and winning the Stage 91 competition in Barcelona. She read Modern and Medieval Languages at Pembroke College, Cambridge, continuing to give many concerts.
Christina freelanced for a decade in London, also playing in Russia, Germany, Italy, Canada and Austria. She met her duo partner, Mark Knoop, in 2002, with whom she performs recitals around the UK and on the continent. She has performed most major cello concertos in cities and festivals around the country. She is a founder member and principal cellist of the Sinfonia UK Collective and also currently plays in the Knoop/Waldock/Rosman trio and 2 Waldocks, a Cello and a Double Bass. Other collaborations include several projects with Canadian jazz pianist David Braid, Barbara Dickson's album 'For Each and Everyone', improvisations with marionettist Salim Hammad and multi-disciplinary theatre projects with artist Sumer Başak.
