Steve Harley Acoustic Trio with unique Q&A included

Capture.JPG

Join us for a special evening including an exclusive question and answer session with the man himself all as part of your ticket!

Steve has kindly agreed to this which follows on from three sold out shows in London. Steve Harley, the original Cockney Rebel tours frequently with his Acoustic Trio, playing an intimate unique and atmospheric show. The performance promises subtle lyricism mingled with great improvisation and rocky rhythms. Steve will be accompanied by long standing band mates and the set will be built around tracks from any or all of his 13 original albums.

Expect to hear Mr. Soft; Judy Teen; Mr. Raffles; Sebastian and of course the world wide classic hit Make Me Smile (come up and see me) - all blending in with more recent tracks from critically acclaimed albums The Quality of Mercy and Stranger Comes to Town. "Playing the songs in an acoustic format gives me time and space to enjoy every second and we improvise, which is always a big excitement for any musician. We can loosen off the arrangements and really explore. It gets pretty exciting during the acoustic sets" says Steve. Steve Harley Acoustic Trio perform a set that is a chance not to be missed for fans to connect with the man Sir Rod Stewart has described "One of the finest lyricists Britain has ever produced' which is praise indeed and you can catch one of Steve's songs on Rod's last album (Another Country) 'A Friend For Life' beautifully interpreted. MOJO said simply "Harley creates rock songs that are proud, lyrical and full of yearning"

Steve has also been described as "A consummate performer at the top of his game" and his show will bear this out. We are privileged that Steve is appearing at such a unique venue in Hull where he has a strong bond, being friends of the late, great Mick Ronson and headed up the Mick Ronson Foundation in 2016.
