No Fish Today

Estuary TV, with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, is commemorating the work of trawlers from the Humber ports in minesweeping in World War 1 and the human cost, in a special exhibition from 1st November 2016 at Holy Trinity.

With the help of volunteers from the Carnegie History Centre in Hull and maritime historians, the display documents how hundreds of fishing vessels were deployed, with a huge image on families in the Hull and Grimsby areas. There will be a documentary to complement the exhibition too, available to view online in November
