University of Hull Lunchtime Concert Series

Holy Trinity will host the prestigious autumn series of concerts for the University of Hull.

On 31st October at 1.00pm John Irving will perform a series of Haydn sonatas on Fortepiano. John is Professor of Performance Practice at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, and Associate Fellow of The Institute of Musical Research, School of Advanced Study, University of London. He now divides his time between his academic work at Trinity and his performing career as a fortepianist and harpsichordist. MusicWeb describe his playing as, ‘Superb…skilled at bringing out the colours and beauties of the piano…a real treat.’

Refreshments at Holy Trinity’s Trinny Tea Café will be available before each performance.

Tickets for all events cost £6, £5 for senior citizens and £3 for other concessions.
